grande plage was at a short distance. free wi fi was very useful. great place for discovering biarritz.
-
L'impertinent, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. We really enjoyed Escale Oceania Biarritz. Only 1 km to Musee Asiatica...
-
next to beach and town.
-
The location is excellent, short distance to the beach, rooms on the 4th floor over two floors, free parking only a few minutes from the hotel, breakfast very good
-
the promenade can be accessed in 5 minute walk.
-
Location is a real plus for this hotel - just a few minutes walk from the Grand Plage of Biarritz. Friendly, courteous staff. Underground car park directly in the hotel.
Room size relatively manageable - for 2 persons it could be a little cramped.
-
Main beach can be reached in less than 10 Mins walk
-
Service
Pads too big and too hard.

The staff was friendly without exception. The room was very clean. The shower is nice and big, a bigger shower head would be nice. In approximately 7 minutes walking distance one is at the Grande Plage.
The room was right at the street, therefore it was very loud and from 6.00 o'clock in the morning, sleeping was practically not possible anymore. Besides, the bed was very well made. The room with the toilet smelled a little bit musty. Only two sockets in the whole room and both at the desk.
-
Optimal location, room well furnished, clean, staff very friendly
Double room very small for two persons, room facing the street at night loud. Some parking boxes in the parking garage only suitable for small cars
-
Very good location, parking spaces in the underground car park near the hotel, good breakfast.
-
Location good for centre of Biarritz, room minimalist but very clean with reasonable facilities. Breakfast was take all you want with items constantly replenished.
Hotel is more Travellodge than Ritz. It's location must be the reason for the rates.

The staff were particularly helpful and the location was good.
There was only one electrical point in the room and there was no mirror near it which you could use for hair styling. Obviously designed by a man !
-
The room was a good size albeit a bit basic. The shower room was very modern and well furnished and decorated. The location was good being a short walk to the main beach and to the town with shops, bars and restaurants.
As stated above the room was a bit basic (like a Premier Inn but not quite as good) and if I'd paid full price I would have been disappointed. There is a plumbing problem with the shower rooms in that they stink of cabbage probably because there are no vents in the waste pipe. It was not at all pleasant. Also please be aware that there is a building site opposite the hotel which starts up at 8am each morning (not the weekend) and it is extremely noisy. The builders will be there for at least another year if not more so if booking this hotel check it out first & get a room at the back of the hotel to cut down on noise.

I thought the hotel employees from the cleaning staff to the receptionists were very pleasant and reception staff tried to be especially helpful, in the light of the French strike and our cancelled flight by Ryan air - who I would never fly with again.
The room was rather crampted for two people staying 11 nights (resulting from cancelled flight) I would only recommend 5 nights stay because of the room size factor. There should be larger rooms available for stays any longer than a week.
